SikaMelt®-9681
SikaMelt-9681 is a multi-purpose, elastic, polyurethane-based reactive hotmelt adhesive for the lamination of textiles, foils, non-woven materials and foams. Curing is activated by the moisture in the air. It forms a non re-meltable elastomer.
Use
SikaMelt-9681 offers a broad adhesion spectrum, and is suitable for the permanent, tenacious bonding of polar polymers like ABS, PC, SMC, PVC, as well as wood, foams, textiles, and painted and primed steel. Non polar polymers like PP and PE can also be bonded after special pre-treatment. It is not suitable for use in applications on substrate combinations like polymer and steel plates, which do not provide the necessary moisture permeability for the adhesive layer.

SikaMelt®-9900
SikaMelt-9900 is a cleaner for reactive polyurethane hotmelt application equipment.
Use
SikaMelt-9900 has both a displacement and neutralising effect and is used to dissolve uncured polyurethane hotmelt. The reactive groups of the polyurethane hotmelt react with SikaMelt-9900, preventing further cross-linking of the polyurethane hotmelt inside the equipment.
