  • Sikafloor FTP

    Water-Based, Concrete Epoxy Primer-Based, Concrete Epoxy Primer

     

    Use

    ■ Use as a concrete primer or moisture vapour treatment under Sikafloor® epoxy and urethane
    coatings as well as broadcast and trowelled systems.
    ■ Also used as a primer and adhesion promoter for polyurethane-based Sikalastic® Traffic
    Systems.

    Characteristics and Advantages

    ■ Excellent adhesion to green concrete.
    ■ Primer applied to concrete within 8 hours of pour requires no mechanical preparation.
    ■ Superior penetration of green concrete substrates.
    ■ Low VOC.
    ■ Fast dry time.
    ■ Low odour.

    ■ Meets ASTM C309 requirement for use as a concrete curing compound.

    Packaging

    Sikafloor® FTP is packaged in pre-proportioned units which then provide a complete kit. The kit consists of 2 x 3.78 L (1 US gal.) cans of Part R (resin) and a 2 x 4.73 L (1.25 US gal.) pails of Part H (hardener).
    Note: To the kit ( 2x Part R & 2x Part H) 18.9 L (5 US gal) of water is added. The kit will yield 35.9 L (9.5 US gal.) of primer.
