Procurement Apprentice

Purpose of the Role

• The Procurement Apprentice role will work alongside the Procurement team to provide end to end purchasing support across a wide range of categories and spend. During this 2-year program, you will have the opportunity to experience the full procurement lifecycle including building a category strategy, sourcing and contracting, managing supplier performance and driving continuous improvement whilst also enhancing the skills and behaviours needed for success. This role will be a mix of office based, supplier visits and a weekly flexible day for home working, and will involve interacting with a number of internal and external stakeholders at all levels within the business (UK and Europe).

The Skills

• Joining the Procurement team will give you an insight into a strategic and key business function who are managing a significant amount of spend.
• This role will run with the CIPS professional accreditation (Level 3/4 – Advanced Certificate/Diploma in Procurement and Supply).
• Additionally, Negotiation and Project Management skills will be developed and nurtured as this is a key part of being successful within Procurement.
