Our goals - Your path

  • Responsible for driving growth of commercial, residential and OEM business through specified distribution channels that meet the agreed upon budget and gross margin objectives.
  • Coordinate sales activities in region, manage the distribution chain and work with architectural salesperson as a team to coordinate the entire sales cycle from specification through final sale.
  • Call on end-users, contractors, builders, architects/specifiers, owners and installers creating a “pull-through” demand, subsequently working with distribution customers to close related sales.
  • Create and identify new market opportunities. Identify and call on top builders in region to specify Building and Finishing (Facade) solutions for residential use. Drive product specification activity through Architects, Consultants and Engineers. 
  • Establish and manage key owner relationships and activities within territory. Provide weekly, monthly sales activity reports
  • Manage project pricing including general pricing directives. Provide training and product demonstrations targeted to the needs of builders, architects, contractors, and installers.
  • Knowledge of building envelope/building science, and exterior cladding assemblies preferred. Follow company environmental and safety policies.
  • Other projects as they arise

Your expertise - Our strength

  • Associate’s degree, BA/BS Preferred, or relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of five years of sales or related experience in the building materials industry.
  • Well-developed inter-personal, communication, presentation, negotiating, organization and listening skills.  High level of energy and enthusiasm - customer-driven entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Must be able to travel up to 60% within assigned territory (may vary).
  • Computer proficient. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Outstanding presentation abilities
  • Valid Driver License in good standing. Ability to travel via car, train and airplane with overnight travel
  • Sit, walk, stand, occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch. Ability to travel by car regularly (drive car), occasionally travel by airplane. Adequate vision (depth perception, peripheral vision, close-up vision. Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds (marketing material, samples)
