ADMIXTURE FOR ZERO SLUMP AND SLIP-FORM CONCRETE
SikaMix®-512 is a ready-to-use, water reducing concrete admixture for extruded concrete such as hollocore, curb and gutters. It greatly facilitate the extrusion process while improving the overall appearance of the concrete surfaces. Extruded concretes formulated with SikaMix®-512 exhibit a higher degree of compaction leading to a greater durability.

Usage

Shelf Life
1 year when stored in dry warehouse conditions at temperatures ranging between +4 °C and +27 °C (40 °F and 80 °F).
Storage Conditions
Store at temperatures above +4 °C (40 °F). If frozen, thaw and agitate thoroughly to return to normal state. Protect from direct sunlight.

Application
Recommended Dosage
The recommended dosage range for SikaMix®-512 is 200-1300 mL/100 kg (3-20 fl.oz./100 lb) of cementitious material. It is suggested that trial batches be conducted in order to determine the required dosage for optimum performance with your concrete components. Please contact your Sika Canada Technical Sales Representative for further information.
Mixing
SikaMix®-512 can be dispensed prior to — or with the total batched water. SikaMix®-512 is compatible with other Sika® admixtures. However, each admixture should be added separately to the mix.
Caution: SikaMix®-512 contains air entraining agents and could entrain unwanted air. Please contact your Sika Canada Technical Sales Representative if an air void system is undesirable.
