WATER-REDUCING ADMIXTURE FOR CONCRETE
Sika® Plastocrete®-161 N is a new generation, synthetically manufactured, waterreducing normal set admixture for concrete. Sika® Plastocrete®-161 N provides for a more plastic and flowable concrete, greater uniformity, increased durability, reduced shrinkage and permeability in your concrete.

Usage
Since Sika® Plastocrete®-161 N is calcium chloride-free, it is recommended for use in all types of concrete including plain, reinforced, paving, precast and prestressed concretes. Sika® Plastocrete®-161 N is especially effective in concretes containing such pozzolanic materials as fly ash, silica fume and slag.Advantages

Shelf Life
1 year when stored in dry warehouse conditions at temperatures ranging between +4 °C and +27 °C (40 °F and 80 °F).
Storage Conditions
Store at temperatures above +4 °C (40 °F). If frozen, thaw and agitate thoroughly to return to normal state. Protect from direct sunlight.

Application
Recommended Dosage
The recommended dosage range for Sika® Plastocrete®-161 N is 120-500 mL/100 kg (2-8 oz per 100 lb) of cementitious material. It is suggested that trial batches be conducted in order to determine the appropriate dosage to obtain the required slump. Sika® Plastocrete®-161 N is compatible with other Sika admixture. Contact your Sika Canada Technical Sales Representative for further information.
Mixing
For best results, it is recommanded to dispense Sika® Plastocrete®-161 N into the batched water. Sika® Plastocrete®-161 N is compatible with other Sika® admixtures. However, each admixture should be added separately to the mixer.
