Application steps

MIXING

Colouring Sikalastic® TC 299 FS

  

Measure 3.78 L (1 US gal) of resin and 170 g (6 oz) of pigment and add into a 18.9 L (5 US gal) mixing pail. Mix for two (2) to three (3) minutes. Add the proper amount of powder hardener and mix for one (1) to two (2) additional minutes. Refer to the mixing chart below.

     

Note: Sikalastic® TC 299 FS has a 7 - 15 minutes working time (depending on temperatures) and must be applied immediately after mixing.

APPLICATION

Apply at the recommended coverage rate (refer to appropriate System Product Data Sheet) using a notched or flat squeegee, and immediately backroll using a phenolic resin core roller.

   

Allow coating to cure a minimum of  one (1) hour between coats before opening to traffic. 

CLEAN UP

Clean tools with an MMA solvent. Other solvents such as xylene or acetone may also be used.
