Project Description
The rehabilitation project of the underground parking farage of the famous Absolute World residential towers in Mississauga, Canada, focused on the revitalization of levels P1 and P2. Understaken by Kingsgate Restoration, the work was aimed at improving waterproofing and durability.
Challenges
The project faced challenges stemming from underground parking activity, notably the impact of heavy garbage disposal bins with nylon wheels. With only a few access points to the garage, the restoration had to proceed with minimal disturbance to tower occupants and visitors. Balancing the need for ongoing traffic flow while conducting restoration work posed an additional challenge.
Why these products were chosen
This achievement is the result of a synergy between Kingsgate Restoration, MBSC and our distributor partner, Jamac Sales & Distribution. For this project, two
waterproofing systems were used, each designed to meet the structure's specific operational requirements. Masterseal Vehicular Traffic 2900 was used for driveways, ramps and exit areas, while Masterseal Vehicular Traffic 2500 was the optimum choice for parking spaces.
