SikaInject®-304 DE

(former TPH.® VARIOTITE®)

Polyacrylic injection resin for permanent, watertight sealing

SikaInject®-304 DE is a 3-component polyacrylic resin with adjustable pot life and extremely high elongation, designed for curtain injection and permanent waterproofing according to EN 1504-5.

SikaInject®-304 DE provides the following characteristics and benefits:
  • Very low viscosity
  • Adjustable pot life by different concentration of part B
  • Injection by 2-C pump, ideally with equipped water-flushing pump
  • Can be used in combination with polymeric strengthening compound SikaInject® 315 PS
  • CE-Marked as stand-alone and with SikaInject® 315 PS
  • Watertight up to 7 bar with SikaInject® 315 PS

Usage

SikaInject®-304 DE can be used in the following applications, but is not limited to:
  • Waterproofing of cracks, joints and honeycombs
  • Injection into masonry, concrete structures, civil engineering construction and tunneling
  • Repair of failed warterbars/expansion joints in combination with a polymeric strengthening (PS) compound
  • Curtain injection into ground and sand

Application steps

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

Surfaces of cracks, joints and voids need to be clean, free of loose particles, dust, oil and any other bond-breaking substances. Any dirt must be blown out with compressed air.

MIXING

All parts are provided in pre-assembled container sizes to the correct mixing ratio.

  

1. Component A

Empty the contents of the small container Part A2 completely into the container of Part A1. Mix the parts thoroughly with a suitable stirrer/mixing paddle for three (3) minutes.

  

2. Component B

Part B is a powder and must be dissolved in 17 L of clean water. Mix three (3) minutes.

  

Components A and B prepared in this way are ready for use. The activated components A and B are stable during 4 hours and are applied by a 2-C-pump in the ratio of 1:1 parts by volume.

CLEAN UP

Pump cleaning from liquid material with water only. Cured material can only be removed mechanically.
