SikaInject® TX-21

Thixotropic agent (formerly TPH.® PUR-O-STOP-FS TX)

SikaInject® TX-21 is a thixotropic agent designed for use with SikaInject®-210 DE.

SikaInject® TX-21 provides the following characteristics and benefits:
  • Thickens the resin; increases its viscosity
  • Reduces the risk of washout by water
  • Enhances resin effectiveness
  • Compatible with other SikaInject® polyurethane injection resins upon request

Usage

SikaInject® TX-21 is suitable for the following applications, but is not limited to:
  • Stopping fast-flowing water when used with SikaInject®-210 DE injection resin
  • Increasing the viscosity of SikaInject®-210 DE injection resin

Application

Application steps

MIXING

Add 7 % of SikaInject® TX-21 to Part A of SikaInject®-210 DE and mix homogeneously. After mixing with Part B of SikaInject®-210 DE, the product shows a highly-viscous consistency. Wash-out of this thixotropic injection resin by fast-flowing water is reduced and more difficult.
