SikaInject®-201 DE

Polyurethane injection resin for permanent waterproofing (formerly TPH.® PUR-O-CRACK PLUS L)

SikaInject®-201 DE is a two-component, very-low viscosity polyurethane injection resin used for permanent waterproofing according to EN 1504-5.

SikaInject®-201 DE provides the following characteristics and benefits:
  • Slow reaction time, can be accelerated with SikaInject® AC-20 DE
  • Highly elastic
  • Suitable for pressurized and non-pressurized water ingress
  • Can be injected using single- or two-component pumps

Usage

SikaInject®-201 DE is suitable for the following applications, but not limited to:
  • Stopping of flowing water, filling of cracks, joints and honeycombs
  • Injection into masonry, concrete structures, civil engineering construction and tunnelling
  • Ground and rock stabilization
  • Curtain injection into ground and sand
  • Joint waterproofing with SikaFuko® Injection hose systems

Application steps

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

The surfaces of cracks, joints and voids must be clean and free from loose particles, dust, oil and any other bond-breaking substances. Any dirt must be removed using compressed air.

MIXING

Empty parts A and B into an appropriate container and mix slowly (max. 250 rpm) for ~2 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained, while observing safety precautions. The product is supplied in packaging with the indicated mixing ratio of 1:1 by volume. Partial quantities can be measured and placed in separate containers. When using SikaInject® AC-20 DE, measure the required quantity and premix it with Part A. Once mixed, pour the material into the pump's feed hopper, and use within the pot life. If a two-component pump is used, the product can be pumped directly from the containers and mixed through a static mixer.

CLEAN UP

Use SikaInject® Cleaner C1, or any other solvent recommended by the injection pump manufacturer, to clean the pump and tools before the resin has cured. Once cured, the resin can only be removed mechanically.
