Sikaplan® WP Disc

Fixing disc for PVC membranes

Sikaplan® WP Disc is a ready-to-use fixing disc based on polyvinylchloride (PVC-p).

  • Predefined breaking point to avoid membrane overstress
  • High flexibility for easy fixation at low temperatures
  • Fast fixation with nailing gun system in shotcrete
  • All membranes based on PVC-p can be heat welded onto this disc
  • Can be installed on wet substrates

Usage

The Product is used for:
  • Temporary fixing of geotextiles and drainage layers under sheet membranes
  • Temporary fixing of PVC-p sheet membranes

System Structure

ANCILLARY FIXING TOOLS (SUPPLIED BY OTHERS):

  • Nailing system (such as Hilti DX 36): nailing gun including cartridges, compatible nails and washer for fixings into shotcrete

  • Steel spikes with steel washers (such as Hasko rivets) to be driven by hammering into pre-drilled holes in reinforced concrete
