SAKRETE Pre-Mixed Concrete Patch

SAKRETE Pre-Mixed Concrete Patch can be used directly from the container. Use this product to smooth unsightly surface defects, minor cracks and holes. SAKRETE Pre- Mixed Concrete Patch adheres tightly to the sides of properly-prepared cracks and joints, to help keep out moisture, thus reducing pavement break-up caused by freezethaw action. Use this product for filling and sealing cracks* or surfaces**, in concrete. This product may also be used for residential repairs of masonry walls and re-application of small broken pieces of concrete, or for tuck-pointing brick mortar joints.

Keep traffic off the repair area during the curing period. If this cannot be done, sprinkle sand over the repair area to prevent tracking.

For deeper applications, up to a thickness of 1/4 in (6 mm), apply in layers of 1/8 in (3 mm) and allow 24 hours of curing time between layers.

If painting is desired, allow SAKRETE Pre-Mixed Concrete Patch to cure for a minimum of 48 hours (when temperatures are between +18 °C to +24 °C/65 °F to 75 °F, with no rain) before painting. Use a high-quality, exterior, masonry grade, breathable acrylic latex paint.

Can SAKRETE Pre-Mixed Concrete Patch be applied if rain is forecast?

Do not apply when rain is forecasted, or when the ambient air temperature is expected to fall below +10 °C (50 °F), within 48 hours. Thicker applications will require longer curing and may be damaged if rain occurs before the surface cures.

What is the curing time of SAKRETE Pre-Mixed Concrete Patch?

This product will form a skin in 20 to 40 minutes and will harden within 4 to 6 hours. Curing time will vary with the thickness of the application. The surface will usually cure in 48 hours, but weather and thickness may slow the drying process. Curing to the full depth of the crack may take 5 to 7 days.

How to mix the SAKRETE Pre-Mixed Concrete Patch?

No mixing is required. Gently stir the product before use. Do not dilute with water or solvents.

How to apply the SAKRETE Pre-Mixed Concrete Patch?

To fill cracks in the area to be smoothed, apply SAKRETE Pre-Mixed Concrete Patch with a cement trowel or putty knife by pressing material into crevices to improve the bond. Smooth finish the patch with a damp application tool.

What is the maximum width of cracks that SAKRETE Pre-Mixed Concrete Patch can seal?

Do not apply in cracks over 1 po (2.5 cm) wide or on surfaces over 1/8 po (3 mm) thick.
