SikaProof® Adhesive-11 V

The indicated shelf life is from the date of production if stored properly in undamaged, unopened, original sealed packaging. For expiration date see label.

Dry storage at temperature from 5 ºC (41 °F) up to 30 ºC (86 °F). Protect from direct sunlight, rain, snow, ice, humidity, etc. Store in a horizontal position. Do not stack pallets on top of each other, or under pallets of any other material during transport or storage.

Consumption can vary widely due to concrete surface conditions, application tools/techniques and waste. Contents of 1 unit will theoretically yield 21 m² at 1.5 mm thickness.

Reinforced concrete structure must be:

• Hardened and of sufficient compressive strength, minimum 25 MPa (3600 psi)
• With a minimum pull off strength 1.5 MPa (215 psi)
• Dry, sound, clean and free of any contaminations (e.g. dust, oil, grease, release agent)
• Free from surface defects (e.g. blowholes, voids, honeycombing, cracks, protrusions

The concrete or other suitable cementitious substrate must meet the defined substrate quality. If the substrate does not fulfil the requirements, the surface must be pre-treated prior to the application, in order to prevent any subsequent damage to the membrane sheets. Mix components A+B together in the correct proportion into a suitable mixing pail for at least 3 minutes with a low speed mixer until the material becomes smooth in consistency and a uniform white colour. Avoid aeration while mixing the 2 components. Pour the whole mix into another clean container and mix again for at least 1 more minute. Mix only that quantity which can be used within its pot life.

Clean all tools immediately after use with a solvent cleaner such as Xylene. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically (e.g., by sand-blasting).
