SikaWall® Fiberglass Mesh is an alkali-resistant fiberglass mesh designed for use with SikaWall®-1000 ICF systems. It is embedded within the parge coat to provide reinforcement, help distribute stress, and support crack control in reinforced surface applications.

Usage

SikaWall® Fiberglass Mesh is used as a reinforcement mesh on exterior ICF walls and EPS surfaces in conjunction with SikaWall®-1000 ICF parge coat or similar cementitious materials where additional dimensional stability and reinforcement are required.

Application steps

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Cut SikaWall® Fiberglass Mesh to the required dimensions using scissors or a utility knife. Handle rolls carefully to avoid damaging the mesh edges.

Embed SikaWall® Fiberglass Mesh into the wet SikaWall®-1000 ICF parge coat or similar cementitious materials, ensuring it lies flat without wrinkles or folds. Overlap edges by a minimum of 65 mm (2 ½ in) and double the mesh at all corners and openings (e.g., windows and doors) for additional reinforcement. Press gently to remove air pockets and ensure full contact. Ensure the mesh is fully covered and uniformly embedded.
