Hydrophilic joint sealing systems, such as SikaSwell® profiles and sealants, are water stops designed to swell and be used in watertight concrete structures for the systematic sealing of construction joints. Upon contact with water, SikaSwell® Waterstop creates swelling pressure within the construction. This inflation pressure seals the construction and prevents water penetration.
