SikaWrap® Peel-Ply

SikaWrap® Peel Ply is a peelable nylon fabric used to overlay the SikaWrap® fabrics before the completion of curing process. It creates a uniform and textured (slightly rough) surface profile, in order to promote the adhesion of a subsequent protective coating or an additional ply of SikaWrap® fabric. It may also serves as a protective fabric again moisture and dirt.

Usage

  • Protection of structural reinforcement fabrics (CFRP & GFRP systems).
  • For surface preparation and uniformisation (before applying another ply of reinforcement fabric or before the application of the final protective coating).
  • May be used to stabilise the fabric at the terminations.
