The Kipling Transit Hub is an important transit facility in Toronto's west end, in Etobicoke. This project was very complex due to the very specific slopes on the roof. The roof, on the 9th floor of these 10 story condo, has given the ower many troubles for many years with continual leaks due to the nature of the snow loads up at Big white.

The old PVC roof was removed and taking advantage of Sika Sarnafil’s recycling programme the old membrane was ground into flakes and put into the backside of new membrane or used for creating new roof walkways.

When the church required a roofing option, Tego Protex was called upon to offer a long lasting solution that could be installed with minimum disruption to the operation of the building. The old modified bitumen roof was assessed and deemed capable of accepting an overlay using Sika’s Sikalastic liquid applied roofing system.
