King® HL-5 Grout
Natural hydraulic lime-based masonry grout
King® HL-5 Grout is a premixed, factory-bagged hydraulic lime injection grout specially designed to be used as a grout in order to fill the voids that have been created over time in historic structures. This grout is formulated without sand and is composed of natural hydraulic lime and other carefully selected components.

Storage Conditions
Always store in a dry area, protected from the weather. At the job site, an additional tarpaulin must be used to cover the product to prevent water infiltration.

MIXING
Mechanical mixing of the King® HL-5 Grout using a high-shear colloidal mixer is required. Place 9.5 L (2.50 US gal.) of water into a mixer and slowly introduce the entire bag of King® HL-5 Grout. Always mix the entire content of the bag.
Only if additional water is required to meet the target flow, slowly add additional water while mixer is running, not exceeding the maximum recommended water dosage of 10.7 L (2.83 US gal.) per 20 kg (44 lb) bag. Continue mixing for three (3) minutes and stop only when the material has reached an homogeneous consistency.
APPLICATION
The application of the King® HL-5 Grout Grout must comply with the requirements of sections 6 and 8 of CSAA371-14
CLEAN UP
In order to avoid the use of chemicals, it is always recommended to clean grout projections on adjacent surfaces such as sidings, neighboring openings, metal flashings, etc. within the hour following the installation by using only clean water and a nylon brush.
Be sure to clean a test area before proceeding with the work.
Clean all tools and equipment after use with water. Once hardened, the product can only be removed mechanically.
