Project Description

Complete exterior repair of the buttress. The facings as well as the chimneys were completely dismantled and reassembled afterwards.

Challenges 

Construction of La Redoute Dauphine began in 1712, making it one of the oldest military buildings in Quebec. It took a lot of patience and ingenuity to repair this extremely fragile structure. Three decades later and despite several unexpected challenges during repairs, the building has retained its original architecture and functionality.
