The King® Colour-Plus Pigment system is exclusively available for King® masonry mortars for new construction and restoration projects. King® Colour-Plus Pigment is concentrated, pre-measured, and ready to be mixed directly with any types of King® masonry mortars. Easy to use, it offers the right colour at the right moment at the jobsite.

XL FORMAT (1:4) = Measured for 120 kg of mortar (4 bags of 30 kg)

All pigments used are conform to ASTM C979 Pigments for Integrally Colored Concrete requirements.

36 months in the original, unopened bag

Storage Conditions

Store (unopened) in a dry place at temperatures ranging between +5 °C and +32 °C (41 °F and 89 °F).

Application

Application steps

MIXING

Refers to the PDS of each type of masonry mortar for the water dosage reference and mixing procedure.

Always mix the entire contents of a 30 kg (66 lb) King® mortar bag.

In a clean mortar mixer or container, pour 75 % of the total water to be added to the mixture (refer to Product Data Sheet for the specific quantity). Add the entire contents of the pigment packet to the water and begin mixing at low speed for one (1) minute using a high powered mixer/drill equipped with an appropriate type mixing paddle. Gradually add the whole quantity of mortar. Mix for five (5) to ten (10) minutes.
