SikaWall®-485 MP Detergent is a multi-purpose biodegradable liquid cleaning a wide variety of stains, dirt & molds on various mineral substrates. Ensures an excellent surface preparation to optimize the chemical bond of Sikawall-485 paint  & stain products on a substrate. Ready to apply, for exterior and interior use.

Usage

60 months in its original, unopened pail.

Storage Conditions

Store protected, in dry conditions, at temperatures between 5 °C and 30 °C. Do not expose to direct sunlight and heat. Close the opened packaging well. Protect from freezing. If the product has frozen, do not use.

Application steps

MIXING

Agitate SikaWall®-485 MP Detergent thoroughly to ensure uniformity (always verify that the bottle cap is securely closed before agitating).

APPLICATION

First, completely saturate the substrate with water before applying the SikaWall®-485 MP Detergent. Cover the surface with SikaWall®-485 MP Detergent. Allow the fluid to penetrate the surface. Do not allow the SikaWall®-485 MP Detergent to dry on the surface, apply an additional SikaWall®-485 MP Detergent to maintain a wet surface. Let the product activate for three (3) to five (5) minutes. If needed, a soft nylon or natural bristle brush can be used. Lightly mist of water and continue scrubbing. To remove heavy dirt and stains, reapply the product and repeat the process. Rinse well with clean, potable water.

   

IMPORTANT NOTE: Always carry out an application test in an inconspicuous to verify substrate conditions and to  confirm application method, consumption, coverage, dwell time and if a subsequent application is necessary to help achieve desired results. Best practice suggests that the selected area is acceptable to all parties involved and that it is representative of the area to be eventually cleaned.

 

CLEAN UP

Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after use.
