MASTER BUILDERS SOLUTIONS PRODUCT LINE BECOMES SIKA
Information to our customers on the Master Builders Solutions product line optimization and rebranding.
Dear Valued Customer,
As you are aware, Sika and Master Builders Solutions have recently joined forces and since May 2, 2023, we are one company. As a result of this merger, the former Master Builders brand will be phased out through a rebranding effort that will take place over the next 12-18 months.
All products currently utilizing the “Master” prefix in the product name will be rebranded to incorporate the use of the “Sika” prefix. This new naming approach will be implemented on all customer touch points including but not limited to packaging, technical literature, brochures, SDS, etc. Our ultimate goal is to make this process as seamless and painless as possible while still upholding the branding requirements of both Sika and Master Builders during this integration.
Product Line Integration/Optimization - We are using the rebranding effort as an opportunity to optimize and simplify our future product portfolio. We will eliminate unnecessary overlap which will further improve product availability to our customers moving forward.
Broadest & Strongest Portfolio – As we combine two of the industry’s best-recognized brands our customers will soon benefit from the strongest and broadest portfolio of proven products in the construction industry and bring additional value to all of our core customers.
Specification Presence – Our customers will also benefit from having access to a widely specified and ever-growing product portfolio with a strong presence across a variety of product groups and CSC/DCC divisional categories.
Unmatched Sales & Technical Expertise - The above-noted benefits will be enhanced and supported by the strongest, most experienced sales and technical support teams in the industry. Every customer will continue to benefit from the combined years of valuable industry and technical knowledge as we remain committed to being reliable solution providers on every project.
Order Placement – We are pleased to inform our customers that during this transition the order process will remain mostly unchanged. You will continue to order through the same channels and processes as used previously.
Future Portfolio & Discontinued Products - We are excited to provide you a series of downloadable documents that outline our combined future portfolio. In addition, we are providing a downloadable list of Discontinued Products that will be phased out of the portfolio over the course of the next several months.

This serves as our initial notification; however, we are committed to providing you with regular updates during this transition through our monthly newsletter. What if I can't find the product I am looking for in the documents?

When will the Sika products be discontinued?
The Discontinued Products will be effective 10/30/2023. Please verify with your local sales for current inventory levels before placing an order. If we have fully depleted a discontinued item that is on your PO we will notify you.
When will the Master Builders Solutions products be discontinued?
The Discontinued Products will be effective 10/30/2023. Please verify with your local sales for current inventory levels before placing an order. If we have fully depleted a discontinued item that is on your PO we will notify you.
When will we start to see the new packaging names?
As Master Builders Solutions branded inventory runs out, you will start to see the rebranded products enter the market. To help you identify the legacy Master Builders Solutions products there will be a 'formerly known as' identifier on packaging and correspondents.
Am I able to combine my orders between Sika and Master Builders Solutions?
No. All orders should be placed separate until communicated by local sales.
To comply with regulatory requirements, the brand “Master Builders Solutions” is not owned by Sika and after a transition period Sika must therefore rebrand all Master Builders Solutions products in our portfolio to a Sika branding. Only the branding will change, the highly appreciated MBCC products will continue to be offered under the new branding.
