Sika Canada is proud to announce the commissioning of its brand-new cementitious materials production line at its Boisbriand (QC) plant. This investment strengthens Sika's production capacity and consolidates its position as one of North America's leading manufacturers of construction products.
SIKA CANADA INAUGURATES ITS NEW CEMENTITIOUS MATERIALS PRODUCTION LINE IN BOISBRIAND, QUEBEC
This new line is the latest addition to the 3 operational production lines at the Boisbriand plant, which already produce a wide range of products, from masonry mortars to shotcrete mixes, in formats ranging from 17 kg bags to 1,500 kg FIBCs.
This investment consolidates the production infrastructure for all Sika cementitious products on a single site in Quebec, thereby offering significant gains in terms of production volume as well as industrial equipment optimization.
The cutting-edge technology on which this new line is based is an example of our commitment to innovative production processes aimed at constantly increasing the quality and availability of our products. In environmental terms, it will significantly reduce our carbon footprint, both in terms of production and procurement.
